Uninstalling the SSH Gateway on Linux

Introduction

This article will help you uninstall the Linux distribution of the SSH Gateway.

 

Step 1. Uninstall Package

Logon to your server as a user that is able to raise their privileges and run the following commands depending on which packaging system you originally installed the gateway on.

RPM

sudo rpm -e ssh-gateway

DEB

sudo dpkg -r ssh-gateway 

 

Step 2. Clean up Files 

Removing the package will not remove all the files from your system. To fully clean your system remove the original installation directory using the following command. 

sudo rm -rf /opt/ssh-gateway
